Adult Day Care

Adult day care has existed in DuPage County since 1978. ESSE Center was established in Glen Ellyn in 1982 at the Faith Lutheran Church. The church donated their space so that this adult day center could begin serving the senior adult population with special services. A second site was opened in central Wheaton in 1995 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Again this was a generous donation of space enabling ESSE to expand its services to a larger geographical area. A third site was added in 2002 in north Wheaton at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. This was also a generous donation of church space to the adult day care mission. Each of these sites offer the same services and clients can go to any of them as they choose. Each site is pictured and has a map furnished by clicking on the church name below each picture..
