"EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN AWARD"
ESSE was nominated and recieved the "Everything Under the Sun Award" at the Governors'' Conference, Dec 9,2011. ESSE Centers are recognized for our outstanding services to older adults in the State of Illinois.
The Illinois Department on Aging hosts an annual awards ceremony to recognize individuals and organizations whose contributions and accomplishments in assisting older adults merit recognition. Each year the awards ceremony serves as the final event during the Governor’s Conference on Aging where advocates and experts gather to focus on issues that affect the aging population.
The Executive Director Cathy Davit and Managers of the 3 facilities attended the luncheon at the Marriott Hotel in Chicago to recieve the award which was a beautiful engraved plaque.
